Located on the fringe of Bloemfontein. Nestled at the foot ofof a beautiful hillock covered in indigenous trees, you will discover a true gem. The immaculately restored Cape Dutch homestead, steeped in history, dates back to 1876.

The history of the fifth generation Fichardt farm, Brandkop, is intertwined with that of Bloemfontein and spending time in the manicured gardens with its enormous trees will take you back to a bygone era.

At Brandkop Estate our venue offers a unique, upmarket setting in a historical homestead and garden for the descerning guest.

It is ideally positioned to offer a venue for conferences and breakaway sessions, as well as intimate weddings and functions of up to 150 guests.

Smaller areas are available for meetings, brainstorming sessions and private dining. The bar and lounge area is the ideal space for unwinding after a busy day.

The beautiful surroundings offer ample space for hiking, biking or trail running. The estate is also ideal for bird watching as more than 60 bird species have been identified in this tree rich area. The family-friendly estate is the ideal place for children to enjoy the beauty and freedom nature has to offer while in a safe environment.

Our in-house chef, Stuart du Preez has 15 years of experience and trained under various well-known chefs such as Reuben Riffel. Menus are planned around the needs of the guest to make their dream day a reality. We also offer off-site catering.

Brandkop Estate has a well-earned reputation for culinary excellence and uniquely customised menus. Our Bridal suite (day use) is included in our package, to ensure that our bride has an unforgettable wedding day from the start. Lunch and drinks can be served , on request, prior to the wedding.
